Anyway You Want It

One thing people seem to be lacking these days is some sort of self confidence. I found out some really, really awful, personal news last night which has, and will for some time effect me. To reduce those effects I always try to use positive re-enforcement. When you wake up in the morning, the first thing I try to do is think of something happy. When I’m getting ready I always look in the mirror and tell myself I am awesome, then laugh because I’m talking to myself! The thing is that because i have laughed about it, every time I repeat this idea, it will release endorphins (happy chemicals in your brain) which will make me feel better. If you’re feeling down, or just anything really, try it; you’ll be surprised!
I had a phone interview on Friday which i believed went extremely well and I have secured a face to face interview in the near future. That Friday night I went out with my buddies at home which was awesome, but I somehow contracted man flu and couldn’t go out Saturday with other mates! Sunday I visited one of my friends from Uni which was amazing as we threw stones at seagulls (practically impossible to hit them).
So back to the job search, it’s such a drag doing this after so many weeks but it’s what we get for investing in our lives by going to be University. To be fair everything I apply for doesn’t specifically want University graduates, so I could have skipped the whole ordeal and been in the same position. I wouldn’t choose that option however as I have made some of my best friends at university.
